Victory on the Narrow Road
But thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
1 Corinthians 15:57
Christ, through the Holy Spirit gives us victory. Christians are spiritually strong because the Holy Spirit lives within us, and both the Father and Son are always with us; which means we are never alone.
Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it. (Matthew 12:13-14) The trinity is with us, and their purpose is to guide us down the Narrow Road to eternal life. And life on the Narrow Road is the life we are created to live, because we walk in victory with Christ.
These are the records of the generations of Noah. Noah was a righteous man, blameless in his time; Noah walked with God. (Genesis 6:9) If Noah walked with God, then we can also walk with God. We put Christ first in our life, we obey every command, we live in the Word, fellowship with other Christians, and we live in Holy Fear of God which brings closer to Him. Serving Christ is our life.
So God created mankind in his own image, in the image of God he created them, male and female he created them. (Genesis 1:27) Since we are created in the image of God, then living the life serving Christ is what we are created to do, therefore it is the most fulfilling life we can have on the earth, because we are created to live in victory through Christ.
We live in the flesh and Satan tempts to live by sinful fleshly desires, but we control our flesh through the divine power of the Spirit. God has given us divine power to overcome Satan and stay on the Narrow Road. But the Lord is faithful, and he will strengthen you and protect you from the evil one. (2 Thessalonians 3:3) No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it. (1 Corinthians 10:13) Christians walk with the power and love of God, so what do we have to fear, Heaven is our home.
Today stay on the Narrow Road to Heaven, and overcome any of Satan’s temptations with the power from Christ. On the Narrow Road we live in victory through Christ.
Prayer: Thank you for giving me Spiritual life through Christ, and through the power of Christ I can live in victory over Satan, and stay on the Narrow Road to Heaven. In Jesus name, amen
