Seek the Lord’s Power
Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen.
Ephesians 3:20-21
We have the divine power from Christ to overcome Satan’s attacks and to overcome the sinful world. Christ has total control over Satan, and when we call on Christ, Satan will flee. We are blessed with the power of Christ that works in our favor, and his power keeps us on the narrow road to Heaven.
And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him. (Hebrews 11:6) We depend on the Lord for his divine power and love to guide us through life, and the faith that pleases God is when we depend on the Lord for everything. We are blessed when we call on the Lord to be with us every day of life.
As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts. (Isaiah 55:9) The Lords wisdom and power is far above our power and wisdom, therefore we need the Lord to be with us and guide us in everything we do in life. Why would we not choose to be guided by the God of Heaven, who loves us more than we can imagine. If people go through life not asking the Lord to be with them, would you say they are prideful? We want and need the Lord to be with us at all times.
Teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age. (Matthew 28:20) We live to bring people to Christ and we know the Lord is always with us, because we always ask for the Lord to be with us. We need Christ with us when we bring God’s truth to people; and how can we reflect Christ if Christ is not with us?
Today ask the Lord to be with you, and walk with his divine power. Always have scriptures ready to give to people, because there is power in the Word.
Prayer: Lord, I need your presence at all times, and I need your power to be a light in this world. In Jesus name, Amen
