Live as Created by God
So God created mankind in his own image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them.
Genesis 1:27
When we live as God created us, we will experience the best life. Everything in life works better when used as it was designed, and the same for humans. To live as created, we live by the Spirit, but Satan has us living by our fleshly desires.
The mind governed by the flesh is death, but the mind governed by the Spirit is life and peace. (Romans 8:6) We live by what we think, by the flesh or by the Spirit. We live by the Spirit, by reading the Word, praying, and fellowship with other Christians. But we need the internal Holy Spirit to connect us to Christ. The Holy Spirit changes us to live as created.
The mind governed by the flesh is hostile to God; it does not submit to God’s law, nor can it do so. (Romans 8:7) The mind governed by the flesh is a mind governed by Satan, and it’s a mind that cannot submit to God’s law. When we live by the Spirit, we are close to Christ and we have control over our sinful fleshly desires. And when we live by the Spirit, we live a God creates us.
For those God foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son. (Romans 8:29) When we accept Christ and have the Holy Spirit, we are being molded by God to conform to the mind of Christ. and as we become more like Christ we are living as God created us, and we are living life to the full. The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full. (John 10:10)
Today seek to live a God created life, and always be relaxed and at peace through the Spirit. When we live by the Spirit, we are guided by Christ to overcome the world. Everyone born of God overcomes the world. This is the victory that has overcome the world, even our faith. (1 John 5:4)
Prayer: Lord guide me to live as created and to live by guidance of the Spirit. In Jesus name, Amen
