Life with Faith
And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.
Hebrews 11:6
We put our faith in God because he loves us and Christ guides us through life into Heaven. God is perfectly faithful and he can do all things, so how can we not fully trust him? We trust God more than we trust ourselves.
Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight. (Proverbs 3:5-6) We trust God because he knows us better than we know ourselves, and he knows exactly what we need. When our faith pleases God, Christ will guide us through life giving us freedom and enable us to overcome the world.
For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God. (Ephesians 2:8) When we put our faith in God it shows that we really know and understand him, and that is why faith is critically important. God wants us to know him and be close to him with Holy fear., because God has infinite power and understanding, and all things are possible for him. When we truly know God, we are ready to leave this earth and be with the Father and the Son.
As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts. (Isaiah 55:9) The Father and the Son are so far above us and loves us more than we can imagine, so how can we not totally trust him. Putting our life in the hands of Christ, gives us the most secure life and rewarding life we could ever have on this earth. But without faith that pleases God, we will never fully experience the life he created us to live.
Now this is eternal life: that they know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent. (John 17:3) Our motivation drives us to serve Christ, because he guides through life into Heaven where we can be with the Father and the Son. To know the Father and the Son, is the greatest life we can possibly experience, and it’s the life we are created to live, the image of God.
Today fully trust Christ and the Word, to guide your thoughts, words, and actions. Reflect Christ in everything we do today.
Prayer: Father, draw me closer to you every day, and guide me through each day through your divine will. In Jesus name, Amen
