Know God’s Prophecies
Because of the signs it was given power to perform on behalf of the first beast, it deceived the inhabitants of the earth.
Revelations 13:14
Then I saw a second beast, coming out of the earth. It had two horns like a lamb, but it spoke like a dragon. (Revelations 13:11) This beast is called the False Prophet and his purpose is to exercise authority to support the first beast. The second beast is described as a lamb which implies he is a master of deception; through signs, words, and appearance. And it performed great signs, even causing fire to come down from heaven to the earth in full view of the people. Because of the signs it was given power to perform on behalf of the first beast, it deceived the inhabitants of the earth. (Revelations 13:13)
It exercised all the authority of the first beast on its behalf, and made the earth and its inhabitants worship the first beast, whose fatal wound had been healed. (Revelations 13:12) The first beast is mimicking Christ who recovers from a fatal wound. Because of the signs it was given power to perform on behalf of the first beast, it deceived the inhabitants of the earth. It ordered them to set up an image in honor of the beast who was wounded by the sword and yet lived. (Revelations 13:14) The goal of Satan is to deceive the people of the world into thinking the first beast is god in the flesh, but he is really Satan in the flesh. Jesus said: Anyone who has seen me has seen the Father, (John 4:9), and anyone that has seen the beast has seen Satan.
The second beast was given power to give breath to the image of the first beast, so that the image could speak and cause all who refused to worship the image to be killed. (Revelations 13:15) The image will speak and demand all that do not worship the first beast to be killed, which is Christians who remain faithful to our Lord and Savior and refuse to worship the image of the beast.
It also forced all people, great and small, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hands or on their foreheads, so that they could not buy or sell unless they had the mark, which is the name of the beast or the number of its name. (Revelations 13:16) I have heard that the world has created a chip smaller than a grain of sand, to be inserted in the hand or forehead. Without this chip people cannot buy or sell. There will many Christians that will refuse the chip, (mark of the beast), and the Lord will provide a way for us to survive.
Today know these prophecies will come true and note what is happening in the world leading towards these prophecies. Also remember we are with the Lord and we walk in victory, Heaven is our eternal home. Look, he is coming with the clouds,” and “every eye will see him, even those who pierced him”; and all peoples on earth “will mourn because of him.” So shall it be! Amen. (Revelations 1:7) When Christ returns the world will mourn because the Truth will be known. The dragon, beast, and false prophet and all those with the mark of the beast will mourn for eternity. And the devil who had deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are; and they shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever. (Revelations 20:10)
Prayer: Lord I put my faith in you and never let fear cause me to lose faith. Lord, guide me through this life as your servant to my last breath. In Jesus name, Amen
