Know God
Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”
Matthew 19:26
All things are possible for God, is a statement that may be difficult for us to grasp, especially with our faith. Many Christians subconsciously may limit their faith based on their own abilities.
Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God. Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love. (1 John 4:7-8) A heart of loves enables us to know God and to know Christ, because God is love. When we read the Word with a heart of love, we have deeper understanding of God and Christ. And the more love we have in our hearts the more we hate sin.
This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success. (Joshua 1:8) Meditate on the word is to think deeply on what we are reading, then it goes from the mind to the heart, and now it has become part of our life. All commands in the Bible are a blessing to all Christians, and the more we bring people to Christ, the more we depend on Christ.
Do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says. (James 1:22) What good is the Bible if we refuse to obey what we read? We are blessed when we obey God’s commands, because the desire to help others to know Christ, goes from our mind to our heart. And being motivated from the heart is a big difference than being motivated from the mind.
Today seek to obey the Word and be guided by Christ.
