God Renews Our Strength
But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.
Isaiah 40:31
Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.” (Matthew 19:26) Since all things are possible from God, we pray everyday that he will renew our strength to be light for Christ. Since all thngs are possible for God , he will give us strength to do his will.
When we serve the Lord, he will provide us with strength and energy. For when I am weak, then I am strong. (2 Corinthians 2:10) How did Jesus survive 40 days and nights in the desert without food or water? The Father sustained his life and health. The Lord will do the same for us. When life is physically and emotionally draining and we don’t think we can make one more day, the Lord promises that those who put their hope in him, will have their strength renewed.
Paul and Barnabas appointed elders for them in each church and, with prayer and fasting, committed them to the Lord, in whom they had put their trust. (Acts 14:23) God has the power to give us his strength and energy to do his will. Experiencing the miraculous strength and energy from the Lord helps us to know his love and his presence with us. Knowing the Lord will give us his strength never prevents us from taking the best possible care of ourselves, both physically and emotionally.
Today, The Lord is with us and he will give strength and courage to be light for Christ. Let the Lord motivate you by his strength, because it is a physical sign of his presence with you and his love for you.
