God Loves Everyone
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.
John 3:16
God loves everyone and he sent his Son to die for our sins; and he sends the Holy Spirit to live in us. God our Savior – wants everyone to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth. (1 Timothy 2:3-4) God hates sin, but when we accept Christ, we have forgiveness of our sins and Christ forgives us and presents us to the Father as perfect. In our hearts we desire to be sinless, but we live in our sinful flesh and we can never be perfect, that is why Christ died for our sins.
Satan’s goal is to keep people away from God by feeding them lies. The main lies he feeds people is to live for their fleshly desires, and keep our minds busy with thoughts on this world and away from thoughts about God. Many people don’t believe there is a God, or they think their good out-weighs their bad. There are many lies that keep people from knowing the truth found in the Word. People can believe anything they desire, but what they believe changes nothing, because God’s truth never changes.
When he (Satan) lies, he speaks his native language, for he is a liar and the father of lies. (John 8:44) People will believe Satan lies because they appeal to the flesh, and people are so busy feeding their fleshly desires they don’t stop and think. They had rather justify a lie than search for the Truth from the Word. They don’t realize at their last breath comes judgment, eternity with Father and Son, or eternity with Satan and his demons. It’s amazing how many people take this eternal decision by God so lightly with virtually no thought.
Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it. (Matthew 7:13-14) It’s never too late to accept Christ and move onto the narrow road to eternal life. The Lord will place his Spirit within us and Christ guides us through life to overcome the world. When we come to Christ, we are free, and we walk with the power of God within us.
When someone comes to Christ, the angels in Heaven rejoice. The Father and the Son loves everyone and protects everyone from the evil one, and we will never be tempted beyond what we can bear; because we are in the family of God. No one in this world could ever love us more than God. No one wants to bless our earthly life, and for us to live eternity in Heaven, more than the Father and the Son. The LORD appeared to us in the past, saying: “I have loved you with an everlasting love; I have drawn you with unfailing kindness. (Jeremiah31:3) This is God’s love for everyone, and he wants to separate us form our sins through Christ, and guide us through the indwelling Holy Spirit.
Today know the perfect love God has for you, and ask for his divine guidance through the day. And remember the Word, prayer, and church family is the foundation of the Christian life.
Prayer: Lord fill my heart with your love so I can be light for Christ. And be with me through the Spirit so I can reflect your love and kindness to everyone. In Jesus name, Amen
