God Gives us Power
Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us,
Ephesians 3:20
There is no power in the world like the power that comes from God, and we have his power in us to overcome the world. No matter what tragedy or difficulty we have in this life, we have the power of God to continue on in life serving Christ.
Blessed is the one who perseveres under trial because, having stood the test, that person will receive the crown of life that the Lord has promised to those who love him. (James 1:12) Life is filled with trials, and with the power of God we can endure whatever Satan through in our path. We can live in victory when we have the power of God, because we know Heaven is our home. We are a light for Christ in all occasions, because that is our Godly nature; we are a new creation in Christ.
Everyone born of God overcomes the world. This is the victory that has overcome the world, even our faith. (1 John 5:4) Through the power of God we overcome the sinful world, we are controlled by Christ through the Spirit, and not by the sinful world. We stand strong for Christ in all situations. When we live in the Lord’s power, we also live in his strength, courage, love, and wisdom. God gives us everything we need to be Light for Christ in this evil world.
Because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. (James 1:3) Our power and perseverance is from faith, which means we believe that the Lord will give us his power, and it’s faith that enables to go into the world with the Lord’s power. We will never know we have the power that we are given, until we test our faith by using his power in our daily life.
Today and every day, live in the power of God, because he gave his power to bring Christ to people, using whatever talents he has given us.
Prayer: Lord guide me to live in your power and wisdom with a heart of love. Help me to every day learn your Word, because the power is in the Word.
