God Created Heaven for Us

Posted on

But our citizenship is in heaven. And we eagerly await a Savior from there, the Lord Jesus Christ, who, by the power that enables him to bring everything under his control, will transform our lowly bodies so that they will be like his glorious body.

Philippians 3:20-21

Our citizenship is in Heaven, and when Christ returns, we have a new younger body that lasts forever, just as Jesus lives forever. Live with joy everyday because Heaven is our home, and tell others how get on the Narrow Road to Heaven.

And the Lord shall deliver me from every evil work, and will preserve me unto his heavenly kingdom; to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen. (2 Timothy 4:18) The Lord enables us to overcome Satan’s evil temptations, because He always gives us an escape. We fight off sin, because we know Satan hates us because we are created in the image of God, and Satan is angry at God and that is why he deceives people to keep them from going to Heaven. We have a choice; serve Satan who hates us, or serve God who loves more than we can imagine, and we are created in the image of God.

Those who live according to the flesh have their minds set on what the flesh desires; but those who live in accordance with the Spirit have their minds set on what the Spirit desires. The mind governed by the flesh is death, but the mind governed by the Spirit is life and peace. The mind governed by the flesh is hostile to God; it does not submit to God’s law, nor can it do so. Those who are in the realm of the flesh cannot please God. (Romans 8:5-8) If our life is governed by our fleshly desires, we cannot please God; but if our life is governed by the Spirit of God, we will have peace and joy, and our life will be pleasing to God. We are created to be governed by God’s Spirit who lives in us, and after awhile it will become natural to us.

If our life is guided by the Spirit, then Heaven will be our home; and we will live according to how God created us, which is the best life we can live. God fills us with the Holy Spirit, and the Father and the Son make their home with us, so God is always with us and he keeps us on the Narrow Road to Heaven. My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me. I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one will snatch them out of my hand. (John 10:27-28) No one can snatch us away from God’s righteous right hand however we can walk away from God; which can make us our worst enemy.

Today Seek to get closer to Christ by following the Spirit, obeying the Word, and having a Christian family. All of which is needed to stay on the Narrow Road to Heaven.

Prayer: Lord, keep me on the Narrow Road to Heaven, and be with me so Satan’s temptations have no power over me. In Jesus name, Amen
