Do Everything Better, Do it for Christ
Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters, since you know that you will receive heritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving.
Colossians 3:23-24
When we do everything as doing it for Christ, we do things better and Christ helps us. If we ask the Lord to help us in everything we do, then we will depend on his help. It easier to ask for the Lord’s help in everything thing we do, rather than to pick and choose.
Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.” (Matthew 19:26) Knowing all things are possible for God, we will seek his help in all things, knowing he can make things easier. It’s always good if we depend on God, because in everything we do, we will reflect the Lord’s love and kindness.
I can do all this through him who gives me strength. (Philippians 4:13) When we do everything for Christ, he is with us giving us his strength and wisdom, especially when ministering to people. The Spirit guides us, and our guidance comes from Christ, and whatever the Lord calls us to do, he is with us with his love, power, and guidance. Our faith is in God and our faith shows our dependence on Christ being with us and guiding us through life doing his good, pleasing, and perfect will.
Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, (Ephesians 3:20) We will do things better we when walk in the divine power that is within us, and at the same time reflect Jesus. We all need Christ in us because the most important thing we do in life is reflect Jesus in everything we do. In our work, in our driving, in our words, and in our thoughts.
Today do everything as doing it for Christ and pray for his guidance. The Lord desires to guide us through life, so we are successful in everything we do. The Lord will guide us to do everything that will give us what we need to survive on this earth, and everything we need to be a light on a hill for Christ.
Prayer: Lord be with me in everything I do today, and help me to always reflect Jesus. In Jesus name, Amen
