Divine Victory
For the Lord your God is the one who goes with you to fight for you against your enemies to give you victory.
Deuteronomy 20:4
Christ gives us victory whenever we call on Him, for his divine power over Satan. We can experience victory every time Satan tempts us. Whenever Jesus cast out a demon, the demon was in total control by Jesus, and that is the power we have when we call on Jesus.
For You are my rock and my fortress; For Your name’s sake You will lead me and guide me. (Psalm 31:3) We are comforted by the Lord’s love and by his promise to guide us and to be with us, because we need his power to overcome Satan’s temptations. We can be confident that with Christ, we can endure anything Satan puts in our life.
No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it. (1 Corinthians 10:13) This is a verse that promises that there is no temptation we cannot overcome with the power of Christ. There is always an escape and it comes through Christ. Victory comes when we desire to overcome, and we call on Christ.
Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. (Ephesians 6:13) Our armor consists of prayer and Christ, and we pray for victory and the temptation my leave; or we call on Christ for sure victory.
Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. (Ephesians 6:10) If we are strong in the Word, we can escape Satan’s temptation with scripture and the power of the Spirit. We have the power of the Spirit, the power of Christ, the power of God, and power of scripture; we need the desire to overcome Satan temptations, and we need divine power over self.
Today experience victory over Satan’s temptations. Put your faith in Christ, because he is always with us and He gives us victory.
Prayer: Lord, help me today to always seek victory in Christ. In Jesus name, Amen
