Divine Power Over Satan

God is faithful, he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so you can endure it.

1 Corinthians 10:13

Satan knows our weaknesses, and he picks the time when are most vulnerable, and Satan triggers our emotion to aide his temptation. God has given us power over Satan’s temptation, but we have to be calm and pray, and keep our emotions under control, because Satan uses our emotions to cause us to sin.

But the Lord is faithful; he will strengthen you and guard you from the evil one. (2 Thessalonians 3:3) The Lord gives us strength and also guards us from the evil one. God protects from the evil on and we will never be tempted beyond we can bear, and God will give us strength to endure Satan temptations.

Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7 To overcome when Satan tempts us, we have to remain calm in our emotions and know scriptures to make Satan flee; and we also make our request to God to make Satan flee.

All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work. 2 Timothy 3:16-17 When tempted we can stop and read the Word, because the Word has a powerful effect over Satan, and scripture can kill our sinful desire. Always carry a Bible with you, because Satan tempts us at the opportune time. If we are driving carry chosen scriptures on CD, because the Word has divine power to calm us.

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Galatians 5:22-23 The fruit of the Spirit will help us to remain calm, especially having self-control and a heart of love. Patience is very powerful, because it tends to keep us calm and with peace, and that is what we need to overcome Satan’s evil.

Today know that God has given us power over Satan. Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, Ephesians 3:20.

Prayer: Pray every day for God to keep Satan away, and commune with God all day because it will keep Satan away. In Jesus name, Amen
