Divine Peace
And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
Philippians 4:7
God wants his people to live in divine peace and not live with fear or anxiety from Satan. The peace from God is far greater than any peace from the world, it constantly feeds our soul and it gives us patience and relaxation. And we can feel secure because we walk with Christ who has power over all creation.
The LORD gives strength to his people; the LORD blesses his people with peace. (Psalm 29:11) Peace from God is a blessing and we pray every day for peace with a thankful heart. He also gives us strength to endure whatever Satan puts in our path. We walk with the power of God, so what to we have to fear?
Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen. (Ephesians 3:20-21) Christ gives us divine power, more than we can ask or imagine, and this power is always with us and enables us to endure anything in life.
Do not be afraid of those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Rather, be afraid of the One who can destroy both soul and body in hell. (Matthew 10:28) We live for Christ and we know Heaven is our eternal home; and we know this life is a vapor. Why, you do not even know what will happen tomorrow. What is your life? You are a mist that appears for a little while and then vanishes. (James 4:14) This life is short but our life in Heaven last for eternity.
For this world is not our home; we are looking forward to our everlasting home in heaven. (Hebrews 13:14) We never die, because life in our spirit, and if the spirit leaves the body, the body is dead. Life is our Spirit, and on our last breath we are alive in the Spirit in paradise, and when Christ returns, we get a younger eternal body just like Jesus did when he arose from the grave. Christians never die, we just leave this earth and go to Heaven.
Today live with peace and walk with Christ. If Satan attacks with fear, call on Christ and Satan will flee.
Prayer: Lord let live today with peace, because I put all my faith in Christ to guide me through this day. In Jesus name, Amen
