Depend on Christ
Trust in the LORD with all your heart. And do not lean on your own understanding.
Proverbs 3:5
We can depend on Christ for everything in our life, because no one loves us more than Christ. Christ died a very painful death on the cross so we can have forgiveness for our sins and redeemed us to God; and our love for Christ causes us to fight sin, and we overcome sin by doing good. Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good. (Romans 12:21)
God is faithful, who has called you into fellowship with his Son, Jesus Christ our Lord. (1 Corinthians 1:9) We can always depend on Christ, because Christ is perfectly faithful and He is willing to guide us through life into Heaven. No one on his earth is faithful as Christ, and we can always depend on Christ. We can have fellowship with Christ as we continue serving Him.
Since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving. (Colossians 3:24) We serve Christ as he leads us through life to Heaven, and we are truly blessed that Christ is willing to guide us through life, and we trust Christ more than our own understanding, because Christ knows us better than we know ourself.
Jesus answered and said to him, “If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him, and we will come to him and make Our home with him. (John 14:23) The Father and Son make their home with us, and we have the Holy Spirit. Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; (1 Corinthians 6:19) The Father, the Son, and Holy Spirit is with us, and they guide us through life to Heaven. But our responsibility is to let Christ guide our free-will down the narrow road to Heaven.
Today depend on Christ to guide you through the day and the more we know the Word the more we can be guided by Christ.
Prayer: Guide me through life and help me to always trust you more than self. In Jesus name, Amen
