Created in the Image of God
So God created human beings in his own image. In the image of God he created them; male and female he created them.
Genesis 1:27
We are created in the image of God and we, seek things that are above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. (Colossians 3:1) And we follow Christ who is seated at the right hand of God with faith. Everything God does is perfect, and we thank God for the blessings he has given us. If live as God created us, then Heaven will be eternal home.
Then God said, “Let us make man in our image, after our likeness. And let them have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the heavens and over the livestock and over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.” (Genesis 1:26) God has given dominion over everything that lives on this earth, but we don’t have dominion over people.
Living in the image of God, means we have Gods love in our hearts, and we reflect love and kindness to everyone. When we live the way God created us, we will live the best life possible on this earth, because we are living the way we are created.
But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you; (Matthew 5:44) God wants every Christian to spread love to others, because without love for everyone we have room in our heart for hate from Satan. We hate evil that some people do, but we don’t hate the person, instead we pray for God to change that person.
Today show kindness to everyone, and pray for the person who does evil, so God can change that person.
Prayer: Help show love for everyone and to hate evil that comes from Satan. In Jesus name, Amen.
