Created for Eternal life
So God created mankind in his own image, in the image of God he created male and female he created them.
Genesis 1:27
We are created in the imagine of God, and when live the way we are created, life will be more fulfilling. But Satan is the great deceiver and his goal is to pull us away from God.
I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one will snatch them out of my hand. My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all[a]; no one can snatch them out of my Father’s hand. (John 10:28-29) We are created in the image of God, and no one will snatch us out of God’s hand. And this verse tends to make self our worst enemy because we have free-will.
Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved. (Act 2:46-47) Every Christian needs to worship with other Christians, because God created us to be with other Christians. When we sing. pray, and hear a sermon; it has strong spiritual effect on us.
But the Lord said to Samuel, “Don’t judge by his appearance or height, for I have rejected him. The Lord doesn’t see things the way you see them. People judge by outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart.” (1 Samuel 16:7) The Lord looks at the heart, because it tells him our motive for serving Christ. Our motivation starts at the mind, and after we serve Christ telling others about eternal life, our motivation moves from our mind to our heart.
The Bible tells us about God, about Christ and about people, and tells us how to live so Heaven will be our eternal home. Without the Bible we would be lost, because the Bible is the foundation of the Christian life. For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart. (Hebrews 4:12) We can read the Bible many times and still learn more about eternal life and how to live this life on earth.
Today live for eternal life according the Word of God, and have a church family.
