Christ is the Answer

Posted on

Here there is no Gentile or Jew, circumcised or uncircumcised, barbarian, Scythian, slave or free, but Christ is all, and is in all.

Colossians 3:11

Whatever is happening in our worldly life or our spiritual life, Christ is the answer.  Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible. (Matthew 19:26) Many things are impossible for us, but if we have faith that pleases God then all things are possible. I can do all this through him who gives me strength. (Philippians 4:13) If we really believe this in our hearts, we will know that Christ is the answer for everything that occurs in our life.

And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus. (Philippians 4:19) Christ will meet all our needs, whether spiritual or physical.  We live each day as the Lord’s servants, and he will supply His strength, His words, and scriptures to minister to the world. He gives us His wisdom and guidance to take care of ourselves, both physically and spiritually.  But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. (Matthew 6:33)  If we serve the Lord as our first priority in life, then he will open the door for us to obtain our needs.

The closer we are to the Lord with a loving relationship, the more peace and joy we experience.  It’s impossible to be close to the Lord and have our minds filled with fear, anger, and insecurity. Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In his great mercy he has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead. (1 Peter 1:3) The closer we are to the Lord, the more we desire to be with Him; this makes us eternally minded. This attitude was reflected by the apostle Paul we he said: For to me, to live is Christ and to die is gain. (Philippians 1:21) This reveals the heart of every Christian that has a close relationship with Christ with a heart of love.

Our relationship with the Lord comes from serving him and having the heart of Jesus. We serve the Lord and he fills our hearts with His love which brings us closer to the Lord. Beloved, let us love one another, because love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God.  (1 John 4:7 ESV) The more of God’s love we reflect to the world, the more we know God, and this makes us dependent on Christ which draws our heart closer to His heart.

A heart filled with God’s love and a close relationship with Christ are the greatest things we can experience in this life. We live as His servant with Christ as our Master. That gives us great peace, faith, and his power to overcome sin because Christ frees us from self and our life is now about God and others. It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery. (Galatians 5:1) We are free when our hearts are filled with God’s love, our minds filled with His Word, serving Christ is our first priority, our faith pleases God, and we live to be with the Father and the Son in Heaven.

Today, know Christ is the answer to everything in your life. Seek his guidance and serve him today. The closer you are to the Lord, the more you will depend on Him.

Prayer: Lord, I know you are the answer to everything in my life. The desire of my heart is to call for your guidance and comfort in all situations as I live to serve you.  In Jesus’ name, Amen
