Christ is Our Lord

Posted on

Every tongue acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

Philippians 2:11

Christ is our Lord, which means we do our best to follow His guidance. The Lord guides us through the Holy Spirit if are still inside and we know the language of God, which is the Word of God. If in our hearts we desire to follow Christ, and pray for His divine help, then He will help us follow his will.

Then Jesus said to His disciples, “If anyone wants to come after Me, let him deny[a] himself, and take up his cross, and be following Me. For whoever wants to save his life will lose it. But whoever loses his life for My sake will find it.” (Matthew 16:24-25) We deny self which means we give Christ priority, and pick up our cross which means nothing will stop us from following Christ. We lose our life implies we live for Christ’s will.

These will wage war against the Lamb, and the Lamb will overcome them, because He is Lord of lords and King of kings, and those who are with Him are the called and chosen and faithful. (Revelation 17:14) We see Christ as our Lord, and He takes priority in our life because He is God. And we serve Him and we are always with Him, and we are called His chosen and faithful. There is great reward both in this life and in Heaven for serving Christ and giving him priority.

For those who are led by the Spirit of God are the children of God. (Romans 8:14) When we give our best in following Christ through the Spirit, we are children of God which means Heaven is our home. The Word is critically important, because we need to know the Word to follow the Spirit. We also pray that whatever we are doing is following the Spirit, and the Spirit will be quiet or it will convict us.

Today do your best to let Christ be Lord of your life, and through the Word, the Spirit, and prayer; we will divine help in following Christ.

Prayer: Father help me to always follow Christ, so my life will pleasing to You, and I can remain secure on the narrow road to Heaven
