Stay on the Narrow Road
Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it.
Matthew 7:13-14
Many people are on the broad road to destruction because they live for their fleshy desires, will the few that read the Word and find the narrow road which leads to Heaven. Satan turns the world against worshipping Christ, by having them not read the Word, but live by their fleshly desires. On the broad road to destruction, people are living in darkness and Satan lies about their eternal destination, while those on the narrow road know the Word and are walking closer to Christ, which leads to Heaven.
Make every effort to enter through the narrow door, because many, I tell you, will try to enter and will not be able to. (Luke 13:24) The Word of God tells us how to live this life on the narrow road that leads to Heaven; and people who do not know the Word of God will believe Satan’s lies and deceptions. We have a life time to read and know the Word, and live the fulfilling life on the narrow road. People need to forget Satan’s lies and know the truth from the Word of God., and know life on the narrow road is the life we are created to live, because everyone is created in the image of God. Know every day that we are further down the narrow road closer to Heaven.
Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. On that day many will say to me, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and cast out demons in your name, and do many mighty works in your name? And then will I declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from me, you workers of lawlessness. (Matthew 7:21-23) Many people fall into the scripture because they do not follow Christ in obeying his will. We follow Christ because we know the Word, and we bring people to Christ because we have hearts filled with God’s love, which motivates us to do the will of Christ.
Today seek to do the will of Christ, study the Word, and show kindness to everyone with God’s truth.
Prayer: Father, keep on the narrow road to Heaven by following Christ’s will in bringing people to salvation. In Jesus name, Amen.
