Christ Gives Us Victory
But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
1 Corinthians 15:17
My prayer is not that you take them out of the world but that you protect them from the evil one. (John 17:15) God has total control over Satan, and He protects us from the evil one. We can live in victory because God protects our soul for eternity. The world can only harm our body, but the world cannot harm our soul or spirit. And when we die, our soul and spirit never die because they live forever.
The Lord is with me; I will not be afraid. What can mere mortals do to me? (Psalm 118:6). All Christians live in victory as long as they remain faithful to our Lord. Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen. (Hebrew 11:1) With faith in what we hope for because we trust the Lord more than we trust ourself. With out faith how can we expect victory in Christ.
The Lord is with me; I will not be afraid. What can mere mortals do to me? (Psalm 118:6). All Christians live in victory as long as they remain faithful to our Lord. When we trust the Lord, we don’t live on fear, because the world cannot touch our soul or spirit. Do not be afraid of those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Rather, be afraid of the One who can destroy both soul and body in hell. (Matthew 10:28) We are the only one that destroy soul and body by not taking care of our eternal soul.
We take care of our soul by having a church family, reading and obeying the Word of God. And obeying the Word is to our benefit, and we are blessed by God by peace and joy. We are free in Christ when we know Heaven is our home.
Today know that can we in live in victory because we are faithful and a witness for Christ. We walk without fear with a life of victory in Christ.
Prayer: Give me the strength to serve you today, whatever the Spirit calls me to do. In Jesus name, Amen.
