Ministering to Seniors at HeartFields Assisted Living at Frederick

Eternal Walk Ministry reaches out to seniors in the Frederick, Maryland community to host bible classes and lead worship services. We help bring the Gospel to senior residents who have limited mobility or other aging disabilities that prohibit them from traveling to and attending regular church services.

We average about 10 residents per class who attend to hear God’s word and meditate on the lessons derived from scripture. During this time, we gather in fellowship together to learn, sing praise, and grow in our relationships with Christ.

This opportunity allows seniors to encounter the Holy Spirit, build relationships with other followers of Christ, and worship God in the comfort of their own residence, without the physical strain of travel. As a result, their spiritual wellness can be renewed and strengthened as they continue their eternal walk to heaven.

Providing Large-Print Bibles for the Elderly

In addition, Eternal Walk Ministry also provides large-print bibles to every senior who wants to get to know the Lord further. These bibles are specially designed for accessible reading and comprehension for elderly adults with poor vision.

This part of our mission helps equip seniors in building their relationships with Jesus Christ and provides easy-to-read scripture, so residents can learn more about God’s word.
