Be Aware of False Prophecy
And many false prophets will arise and lead many astray.
Matthew 24: 11
God sent prophets to the Israelite nation, telling them what would happen to them if they didn’t repent form their evil ways. The people didn’t want to hear God’s judgment, but they listen to false prophecy that was pleasing to them. Even today there are false prophets preaching what we want to hear. The only absolute true prophecy comes from the Word of God.
Many people will listen to false prophets because they don’t preach God’s judgment against evil. Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines and earthquakes in various places. (Matthew 24:7) The things in this verse are happening in the world a with occurrence as never before, especially famine and earthquakes. The prophets carrying God’s judgment always come true.
What will be the sign of your coming and of the end of the age?” Jesus answered: “Watch out that no one deceives you. (Matthew 24:3-4) We need to be aware of what is truly happening in the world so recognize the signs in Revelation given by Christ. We need to know where we are at in end times from God’s prophecies in Revelations.
We walk with the Lord and we know what to expect in God’s prophecies. We prepare for survival and we prepare to bring God’s truth to people believing Satan’s. lies. The book of revelations is important to Christians because we know eternal life through Christ, we know what events that will happen from the Word, and we take this information to fearful lost souls.
For if we are faithful to the end, trusting God just as firmly as when we first believed, we will share in all that belongs to Christ. (Hebrews 3:14) We live for Christ to our last breath, and people see us with a heart of love, peace, and compassion. As the lost world lives in fear of the future, we have a golden opportunity with wisdom from the Word, to bring Christ and eternal life to the world. The closer we are to end times the more advantage we have when witnessing.
However, we must have proof of what’s happening in the world and relate it to the Word. To find the truth of what happening in the world, be sure to find truthful sources. Satan’s goal is to omit truth and report lies in the media because most everyone believes what they hear and see on news programs and newspapers. Truth comes from reputable Christian programs.
Today take ever opportunity to bring God’s truth to others, and pray that the Spirit will guide you to someone who wants to hear the truth.
Prayer: Lord help me to understand the truth of what’s happening in the world and relate it to your Word. So I can calm the fear in people with the good news of Christ. In Jesus name, Amen
