All Things are Possible for God
Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”
Matthew 19:26
If we know in our hearts that all things are possible for God, we can live with divine security. And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose. (Romans 8:28) Living as the Lord’s servant, we know all things will work for good because all things are possible for God. We are in the Lord’s family, he loves us perfectly, and he enables us to live in this fallen world secure in Christ.
As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts. (Isaiah 55:9) When we pray, remember we are praying to God whose thoughts and ways are above our thoughts and ways as the Heavens are higher that the earth, and no one can fathom his ways. So, pray knowing God’s love and power and never limit prayer to our understanding and to only what’s possible for us.
Do you not know? Have you not heard? The LORD is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He will not grow tired or weary, and his understanding no one can fathom. (Isaiah 40:28) In our hearts, we know God as the creator of all things, all things of possible, infinite wisdom and love. God is beyond our imagination and he is so far above all he created, as the Heavens are higher than the earth. If we see God as our loving Father and if we see God for who he really is, then we can trust him in all things.
Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. (Isaiah 41:10) God is with us, and we are connected to him through the Spirit. If we see God for who he really is, then we live secure as his servant with assurance that Heaven is our home. In God I trust and am not afraid. What can man do to me? (Psalm 56:11) We don’t live in fear because we have God as our Father, he is always with us, and he gives us his strength to overcome the world.
Today know God and trust him completely. Live as his servant, pleasing in his eyes, and know he is with you every second of the day. Reflect his love and security to the world.
Prayer: Lord, help me to see you as the one and only God, and to know your infinite love and power in my heart. Let me seek your power to drive out any temptations from Satan. In Jesus’ name, Amen
