Power of God
Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us.
Ephesians 3:20
For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). The power of God that is released in us when our faith pleases God.
Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; (Proverbs 3:5). The faith that pleases God is when we do not lean on our own understanding but trust God’s divine will. We pray every day and trust God to answer our prayers according to his will, while we walk in obedience to his will. This way we have stepped off the throne and the Lord’s power is now released in us.
The Lord himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged. (Deuteronomy 31:8). He loves us perfectly, all things are possible for him, and heaven is our home. Knowing this through divine faith we have overcome the world and we crush the fear that comes from Satan. We are now living with courage and in the power of God.
Everyone born of God overcomes the world. This is the victory that has overcome the world, even our faith (1 John 5:4). We have the power of God to overcome the world and we live free in Christ. It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery. (Galatians 5:1). The more we trust the Lord and follow the Spirit, the more God’s love enters our hearts. There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear (1 John 4:18).
Today, live in the power of God, and reflect Christ to everyone. Commune with the Lord throughout the day and pray for his power and wisdom.
Prayer: Lord, I pray today that your love and power will be reflected to others. In Jesus’ name, Amen
