Love
If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing.
1 Corinthians 13:2-3
God is love and we have the mind of Christ, and a heart of love helps us to be like Christ. Anyone who does not love does not know God, because God is love. (1 John 4:8) This verse tells us that without love we will not know God; then will Heaven be our home?
No one has ever seen God; if we love one another, God abides in us and his love is perfected in us. (1 John 4:12) If we have love for one and another, God abides in us and our love is perfected. When God abides in us, He guides us through life and at the same time He perfects his love in us. When we trust the Lord to guide us through life it shows our love for him, that we know him, and we believe his promises.
Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it. (Matthew 7:13-14) Only a few find the Narrow Road to Heaven because they have a heart of love. Those on the broad road that leads to eternal destruction, because they don’t have a heart of love for everyone.
But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you; (Matthew 5:44) Jesus show love for everyone, but always spoke the Truth, and we are called by God to do the same; show love but always bring the Truth. Trusting God to lead our life through the Holy Spirit is how we show our love to the Lord.
But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you. (Matthew 5:44) Jesus forgave the ones that crucified Him, and we pray for our enemy. Seeking the Lord’s divine help is pleasing to him and shows our love to him.
Today know that the Lord is with you and that he will help you through your day, because he loves you and you are important to him.
Prayer; Help me Lord help t have a heart of perfect love. Let the Spirit remind me to always show love that comes from Christ.
