Led by the Spirit
For all who are being led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God.
Romans 8:14
To follow the Spirit, we must know the Word of God, and we must desire to follow the Spirit. Christ will answer us through the Spirit by placing thoughts in our minds, and changing the desires of our hearts.
But when He, the Spirit of truth, comes, He will guide you into all the truth; for He will not speak on His own initiative, but whatever He hears, He will speak; and He will disclose to you what is to come. (John 16:13) We always ask the Lord with to be us in everything we do, because it shows our faith with a dependent heart. If we really depend on the Lord to guide us, we will ask him to be with us in every day.
But they who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint. (Isaiah 40:31) When we seek to follow the Lord, he fills our souls with the blessings from Heaven that renews our strength. Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us. (Ephesians 3:20) The Lord puts into our hearts.
Today seek the Spirit’s guidance and walk in the power and wisdom of God. Christ is willing to guide us with his love, power, wisdom, and anything we need to reflect Christ to others.
Prayer: Lord, help me to follow the Spirit in my thoughts. I seek your divine guidance and help in everything I do today. In Jesus name, Amen
