Christ is With Us

Posted on

The Lord is for me; I will not fear; What can man do to me?

Psalm 118:6

Do not be afraid of those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Rather, be afraid of the One who can destroy both soul and body in hell. (Matthew 10:28) When our body dies, we step into eternity, and our eternal destination depends on the life we spend on earth. We have a Church family, we read the bible every day, we pray, we talk to Christ during our day, and we bring people to Christ? This is the life living on the narrow road to Heaven.

Christ is with us through the Spirit, and He guides us through life. He guides us down the narrow road to Heaven, and He is with us through anything we encounter in life. Man can kill the body, but no one can touch our soul and spirit which lives forever. And when Christ returns, we get a new younger body that never ages and no pain.

Teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age. (Matthew 28:20) Christ is always with us and he knows us better than we know ourself. He knows ever thought we have, ever word we speak, and everything we do in life. We cannot hide anything in our life from Christ.

We seek to obey every command in the Word of God, and we need Christ with us every day. Our life depends on Christ being with us, to guide our thoughts and words. We have faith that depends on Christ being with us. For we live by faith, not by sight. (2 Corinthians 5:7) We are not sure what will happen tomorrow, and that is why we need Christ with us to guide us through the unknown.

Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go. (Joshua 1:9) Christians are strong and courageous because Christ is with us, and we do not live in fear because Heaven is home.

Today know Christ is with you through the Holy Spirit, and He will guide you through anything you face today.

Prayer: Lord be with be every day, to guide me through each day of my life. In Jesus name, Amen
