Christ is Our Power
Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us,
Ephesians 3:20
With Christ we can live in victory over Satan, but we must have faith in Christ to give us that victory. If we call on Christ when Satan’s attacks, and quote a scripture, Christ will make Satan flee, because Christ has total control over Satan.
Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. (Romans 8:1) When Satan attacks we don’t condemn our self, we blame Satan and we call on Christ for victory. For every evil thing in this world, including a sinful thought, is all because of Satan. So, we fight Satan with the power of Christ.
For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. (Ephesians 6:12) We don’t call on Christ to fight people, we call Christ to fight Satan. With Christ’s power, we can bring people to Christ, and for lost souls we bring the Word to them, and we describe the most fulfilling life that we are living.
When we fight Satan remember we have very little power, but we have the divine power of Christ, who has power over the entire universe. The problem we all have is when Satan attacks us at our most sinful desire, and that may prevent us from calling on Christ, because the sin may be more desirable than experiencing victory.in Christ. This is when our emotion rides over our Godly thinking.
Satan attacks us when we are most likely to sin, and he attacks our emotion. That is why a Christians always to be in control of their emotion. He says, “Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.” (Psalm 46:10) If we are still inside, communing with God, Satan cannot touch our emotion because it is controlled by God. The more we commune with Christ during our day, the less Satan will attack. A true Christians talks to Lord, because they depend on the Lord being with then at all time.
Today fight Satan with the power of Christ, and fight immediately before Satan takes charge of your emotion.
Prayer: Father help to always call on Christ when Satan attacks, and never let Satan get a foothold om my life. In Jesus name, Amen
