We are Spiritual People
Do not be afraid of those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Rather, be afraid of the one who can destroy both soul and body in hell.
Matthew 10:28
Life is in our soul and the world cannot touch our soul, and when our body dies, we will be a complete spiritual person, because we never die. The only person that can destroy our soul is ourself. When Christ returns, we get a new younger body that lives forever, never ages and has no pain. And since Satan is not in Heaven, we will have no temptation to sin.
Since we are the only ones who can destroy our eternal soul, does that make self our worst enemy? I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one will snatch them out of my hand. My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all; no one can snatch them out of my Father’s hand. I and the Father are one. (John 10:28-30) The Lord will not only guide us through life, he will protect our soul so we can be with the Father and the Son in Heaven forever.
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ, (Ephesians 3) The Lord feeds those in his family with spiritual blessings that constantly feed our soul. An example of the blessings are: love, peace, joy, patients, comfort, courage, and whatever we need; and when life gets difficult we pray and the blessings get stronger. These divine blessing only come from Christ, while the blessings from the world are only temporary and feed the flesh.
I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me. (Galatians 2:20) Paul died to his own will, and did his best to live by the will of Christ. We have the great advantage of Christ guiding us through life with his infinite love and power, and his guidance is far better that our own guidance. It is a great blessing to have God (Christ) willing to guide us through life.
Today realize you are spiritual person living a fleshly suit, and the body without the spirit is dead. So live each day for eternal life, and to always be with us.
