Trust and Thank the Lord

For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your way and my thoughts than your thoughts.

We always trust the Lord and thank Him for being with us, and that Heaven is our home. If we truly recognize the attributes of God, and that his love for us more than we can imagine, then how can we not fully trust Him? We thank Him in all circumstances, because he guides us through every obstacle in life and into Heaven.

Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight. (Proverbs 3:5-6) We trust the Lord more than we trust our ways and our understanding, and that is because the Lord knows our future and exactly what we need to get through life. We trust the Lord with all our heart.

And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him. (Hebrews 11:6) It is critical that we fully trust God, because it’s our trust that shows that we truly know God. If really know the love God has for us, and the infinite power He has, and all he has done to get us into Heaven; then how can we not fully trust him in all situations.

Give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus. (1 Thessalonians 5:18) There are many things in our life that we may take for granted, but we always have things in our life that we should always be thankful for. The most important thing to be thankful for Christ being with us through the Holy Spirit; and Heaven is our home.

The apostle Paul lived an extremely difficult, but he was content in all circumstances. I know what it is to be in need, and I know what it is to have plenty. I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation, whether well fed or hungry, whether living in plenty or in want. (Philippians 4:12) The Lord fed Paul’s soul with contentment, even though he suffered in his flesh. This shows the power of God when he feeds our soul with blessings from Heaven, because it can override the tribulations we face in this life.

Today fully trust the Lord in all things, and have a thankful heart. The more we thank God for what He has done for us, the stronger our faith becomes.

Prayer: Lord I will aways trust you and give thanks for all you have done for me. And thank you for guiding me down the narrow road to Heaven. In Jesus name, Amen
