The World is Changing
The great dragon was hurled down—that ancient serpent called the devil, or Satan, who leads the whole world astray. He was hurled to the earth, and his angels with him.
Revelations 12:9
As we approach end-times, Satan and his demons are in full force, but always remember God is always in total control. With the breath of his mouth, he could destroy the entire universe, but first Christ has to return and take his people into Heaven, while those who don’t know God will be left behind to spend eternity with Satan and his demons.
The world is moving toward a one world leader, and this leader is called the “beast” in Revelations. It was given power to wage war against God’s holy people and to conquer them. And it was given authority over every tribe, people, language and nation. (Revelations 13:7) The beast will have power for 7 years, but the last 3.5 years he will make war against God’s people.
The second beast is called the “false prophet”, and he supports the first beast. He exercises all the authority of the first beast in his presence. And he makes the earth and those who dwell in it to worship the first beast, whose fatal wound was healed. He performs great signs, so that he even makes fire come down out of heaven to the earth in the presence of men. (Revelations 13:11-13) The dragon (Satan), Beast (False Christ), and the False Prophet (False Holy Spirit); and they are called the unholy trinity.
But the beast was captured, and with it the false prophet who had performed the signs on its behalf. With these signs he had deluded those who had received the mark of the beast and worshiped its image. The two of them were thrown alive into the fiery lake of burning sulfur. (Revelations 19:20)
When Christ returns, he will cast he beast and the false profit into the lake of burning sulfur with the breath of his mouth. This is the power God has over all creation including all people, and he has given us the power to endure and overcome all of Satan’s evil schemes. And then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord Jesus will overthrow with the breath of his mouth and destroy by the splendor of his coming. (2 Thessalonians 2:8)
Immediately after the distress of those days the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light; the stars will fall from the sky, and the heavenly bodies will be shaken. Then will appear the sign of the Son of Man in heaven. And then all the peoples of the earth will mourn when they see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven, with power and great glory. And he will send his angels with a loud trumpet call, and they will gather his elect from the four winds, from one end of the heavens to the other. (Matthew 24:29-31) All those who mourn are those who don’t know God truth from the Word. All that overcome Satan’s lies and deceptions, and reaming faithful to Christ, will be gathered by the angels and will meet the Lord in the air, and Christ will carry us to our Heavenly home. People can believe whatever they desire, but they can never change God’s judgment, which is given in the Word.
Today know that no matter what happens in this world, we have victory in Christ because God is in total control at all times. And remember Heaven is our home because we live by the truth of God’s Word.
