Stay Calm Under Stress

And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.

Romans 8:28

There are many things in this life that give us stress and sometimes fear, however God will work all things for our good. If we have faith and we do our best in serving the Lord, we can be certain that He will work all things for our good and His glory.

And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. (Philippians 4:7) He will strengthen our faith if we tell ourselves, “Lord, I will trust you under all conditions because I know you will work all things for my good and your glory.”  If we pray with faith in His promise to work all things for good, it will bring peace to our souls.

So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. (Isaiah 41:10) Whatever stressful situation we face, we can be sure that the Lord will give us His strength, and he will uphold us with His righteous right hand, just as He did for Jesus as He endured the cross.

Be still, and know that I am God I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth. (Psalm 46:10) The more we remain still inside and commune with the Lord, the more we will be prepared for stressful situations because we will know the Lord is with us. We learn to depend on the Lord for all situations in life, and we depend on the His love, strength, and courage to carry us through life. We live in the Lord’s divine power and we overcome the world knowing Heaven is our home. Everyone born of God overcomes the world. This is the victory that has overcome the world, even our faith. (1 John 5:4)

Today, live with a calm attitude and be still inside connected to the Lord. Ask the Lord to fill your heart with love, peace, and joy that you can reflect to the world. Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us. (Ephesians 3:20) With the Lord’s power in us, we can replace stress with His divine love and peace.

Prayer: Lord, I will always trust you knowing you work all things for my good and your glory. Thank you, Lord, for always being with me and giving me your power. In Jesus name, Amen
