Spiritual Blessings

Posted on

Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in the heavenly realms with every spiritual blessing in Christ.

Ephesians 1:3

Spiritual Blessings come from God, and they continuously feed our soul, and they are more powerful than any temporary worldly blessings. The closer relationship with have with Christ, the more powerful these blessing become, to the point we are ready to leave this world and go to our Heavenly home, so we can be with the Father and the Son.

Now this is eternal life: that they know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent. (John 17:3) The greatness of Heaven is being with the Father and with Christ. What would Heaven be like without the Father and the Son? The closer relationship we have with Christ the more we desire to be with Christ.

For to me, to live is Christ and to die is gain. (Philippians 1:21) This verse has a lot of meaning, and it tells us that the best and most rewarding life we can on this planet, is a life with a close relationship with Christ. The closer relationship we have with Christ, the more blessings feed our soul from Heaven. We can experience a closeness to Heaven from the blessings from Heaven that feed our soul, and it comes from serving Christ and having a close relationship where Christ is our life.

Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things. (Colossians 3:2) The key to our spiritual life comes from our thoughts, and if we keep our thoughts on things eternal, then we can be closer to Heaven than we are to the world. We can keep our thoughts on things above through the Holy Spirit, by interfacing to the world through the Spirit. Everything we see and hear goes to the Spirit, and our response comes from the Spirit. The more we know the Word, the more natural this become, because that is way God created us.

But, as it is written, “What no eye has seen, nor ear heard, nor the heart of man imagined, what God has prepared for those who love him.“  (1 Corinthians 2:9) The blessing both is this earthly life from the spiritual blessings, and the blessings from our Heavenly life with the Father and the Son; are both beyond our imagination. These are the things God has revealed to us by his Spirit. (1 Corinthians 2:10) What God has prepared for us in Heaven is revealed to us by divine blessings that continuously feed our soul, and we receive these blessings through the Holy Spirit.

Today serve the Lord and experience the spiritual blessing that feed our souls, such as love, peace, comfort, hope, courage, or whatever the Lord knows we need.

Prayer: Father thank you for the Spiritual blessing that continuously feed my soul, and these blessing enables me to keep my thoughts and things above. In Jesus name, Amen
