See the World Through the Spirit

Posted on

If we live by the Spirit, let us also walk by the Spirit.

Galatians 5:25

If we live by the Spirit and we walk by the Spirit, then we must interface to the world through the Spirit. Everything we see, hear, or read, we take it to the Spirit and we respond from the Spirit. It’s fulfilling to respond to the world with love and Godly wisdom, and with gentleness with our words.

The mind governed by the flesh is death, but the mind governed by the Spirit is life and peace. (Romans 8:6) Our minds are governed by the Spirit which enables us to interface to the world by Christ’s divine guidance and wisdom. Scripture tells us we can do nothing apart from Christ.  I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing. (John 15:5) Bearing fruit is our divine mission in this life, guided by Christ through the Spirit. This brings us closer to Christ filling our hearts with divine love, joy, peace, and with contentment.

When our soul is content and satisfied from the blessing of God, we no longer seek the world to satisfy our soul, and now we truly enjoy the world. We enjoy things in the world that we probably used to take for granted, but today it gives us peace and relaxation with a thankful heart that brings us closer to the Lord.

For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities, His eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly seen, being understood from His workmanship, so that men are without excuse. (Roman 8:20) When our soul is fulfilled, we see God’s divine nature and presence in nature like never before. Looking at God’s creation through the Spirit brings us joy and thankfulness to the Father and the Son.

Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth. (Psalm 46:10) A soul that is content serving the Lord is relaxed and still inside and motivated to commune with the Lord, which brings us more peace. Seeing the world through the Spirit keeps us in the Kingdom, keeping us closer to the Lord than we are to the world. Jesus answered, God’s kingdom is coming, but not in a way that you will be able to see with your eyes. People will not say, ‘Look, here it is!’ or, ‘There it is!’ because God’s kingdom is within you. (Luke 17:20-21) This is how we overcome the world. Everyone born of God overcomes the world. This is the victory that has overcome the world, even our faith. (John 5:4)

Today pray the Lord will continue to fill your soul so you can enjoy the world and see God everywhere. Follow the Spirit and you will live life to full.

Prayer:  Lord help me to interface to the world through the Spirit and see the world through your eyes. Fill my heart with your love, peace, and joy, that I can reflect to the world. In Jesus name, Amen
