Saved by Faith
For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God;
Ephesians 2:8
We live by faith in Christ because we know we can trust him in all things. As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts. (Isaiah 55:9) We live each day with faith, trusting Christ will guide us through each day, and we can trust the Lord because he knows what we need and he know our future.
And without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is and that He is a rewarder of those who seek Him. (Hebrews 11:6) We are saved by grace through faith by putting our life in the hands of Christ which means we trust the Lord’s ways over our ways. When we fully trust the Lord, we have divine peace in our life.
We show we are servants of God by our pure lives, our understanding, and kindness, by the Holy Spirit, by true love, by speaking truth, and by God’s power. (2 Corinthians 2:6-7) Our faith is shown by serving Christ, and obeying the Word of God. We minister to the world through the guidance of Christ, and the more we experience his divine will, the more our faith increases.
Though you have not seen him, you love him; and even though you do not see him now, you believe in him and are filled with an inexpressible and glorious joy, for you are receiving the end result of your faith, the salvation of your souls. (1 Peter 1:8-9) We trust the Lord and we show it by fully obeying the Word guided by Christ. We trust the Lord’s will over our will because he is God and we are his servants.
Today fully trust the Lord, and ask Christ for guidance. Know the perfect love that God has for you and trust his loving guidance.
Prayer: Lord, I will fully trust you in everything I do today. Guide me as your servant to be a light in this world. In Jesus name, Amen.
