Satan’s Strategies Will Backfire

Posted on

And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.

Romans 8:28

Satan’s strategies to destroy the church has always failed, and for those who live to serve the Lord ministering to the world, Satan will fail in stopping their ministry and their spiritual growth. We will give three examples of how Satan’s strategy backfired.

Satan had the apostle Paul imprisoned thinking it would stop his ministry. In prison Paul became closer to the Lord and he wrote; Galatians, Ephesians, Philippians, Colossians, Second Timothy, Philemon God used Paul’s imprisonment for a greater purpose, writing the epistles with revelations from being closer to the Lord.

Satan enticed the Roman emperor to isolate the apostle John on the island Patmos, to stop his ministry. Satan’s plan again backfired because the Lord gave John the visions to write the book of Revelations.

Aquilla and Priscilla started the church in Rome, but due to persecution against the Jews they were forced to leave Rome. Satan goal was to stop them from ministering by forcing them to leave Rome, but the Lord had other plans and their greatest ministry occurred after they left Rome. The met Paul and Apollos, and they ministered to Apollos in a more perfect way about the Lord: and Apollos became the minister of the church in Corinth.

Satan will try and shut down our ministry, and he will use this pandemic to discourage us. But God will work all things for good, especially if we are motivated by a heart of love shown by praying for Him to open doors to ministry. We remember that all things are possible for the Lord.

Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. (Matthew 7:7) We show our motivation to serve the Lord, being a Light on hill, by praying and asking the Lord to open a door for us. When our hearts are searching for opportunities to minister to the world, and we pray for the Lord to open a door, it will happen because he sees the desire of our hearts.

And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him. (Hebrews 11:6) We show our faith by seeking the Lord to open doors to our ministry. With faith, prayer, and searching for opportunities to minister, we reveal the love in our hearts, and he will open a door for us.

Today know Satan cannot stop your ministry because the Lord in his divine power makes all things work for good, for those love him and called according to his purpose.  Seek and pray for opportunities to minister to others, and know the Lord will not allow Satan cannot to stop our ministry.

Prayer: Thank you Lord for the promise of opening doors to minister, even in this pandemic. We know that you can work all things for good because you are God and all things are possible. In Jesus name, Amen
