Satan is no Hope, Christ is Hope.

Posted on

But the eyes of the Lord are on those who fear him, on those whose hope is in his unfailing love.

Psalm 33:18

Many people in this world are losing hope because they put their hope in the world. Satan is the ruler of the world under God’s control, and those who don’t walk with Christ are losing hope. Those who walk with the Lord live with hope and peace because the Lord guides us through life into our Heavenly home.

Everyone born of God overcomes the world. This is the victory that has overcome the world, even our faith. (1 John 5:4) Christ has overcome the world and for all those in his family he gives the power to overcome the world. We are controlled by Christ through the Holy Spirit, and we are not controlled by the world.

Do not be afraid of those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Rather, be afraid of the One who can destroy both soul and body in hell. (Matthew 10:28) We know Heaven is our eternal home and we know physical death opens the door to Heaven. At our last breath, we are still alive because our eternal soul separates from our physical flesh. Our soul is our thoughts, personality, and emotions which live forever. Satan is trying to steal our soul from Christ through fear.

It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery. (Galatians 5:1) The Lord takes away fear from Satan and he takes away our fear of physical death; we are free from the yoke of slavery to the world. Do not let Satan make you a slave but live with your hope in Christ.

With this pandemic, many people are suffering financially, but if we in pray for his guidance in life, he will help in any situation. Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.” (Matthew 19:26) Whatever situation we face in this life, pray and depend on the Lord for his divine help.  He will help his people because all things are possible for God.

But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well (Matthew 6:33) If we live for Christ seeking his kingdom and his righteousness, we have his promise for our physical needs. He provides for our needs, and not for our wants. We are satisfied with our needs because as we get closer to the Lord, we lose our desire for things of the world and we seek the greater blessings from God.

Today, have the faith to put your hope in Christ.  Follow his will today through the Spirit, as he puts thoughts in your minds, or he changes the desires of your heart. Remember, you have the power of God the creator of all things, and He is in control of all things. He loves you perfectly and protects you from the evil one.

Prayer: Lord, I put my hope in Christ and help me to live today guided by Christ to be a light to everyone. In Jesus’ name, Amen
