Power of Unification

Posted on

For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.

Ephesians 6:12

We are in a spiritual war and Satan and his demons are unified in seeking to destroy God’s people and to take over the world in his last days. Satan is feeding the world with his lies and the Church fights this spiritual war through prayer and by feeding the world God’s truth.  Are the Bible based churches in our communities unified to bring the Truth?

I appeal to you, brothers and sisters,  in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that all of you agree with one another in what you say and that there be no divisions among you, but that you be perfectly united in mind and thought. (1 Corinthians 1:10) The power of the church comes from the Lord through the Spirit and we have power over Satan and his demons. You, dear children, are from God and have overcome them, because the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world. (1 John 4:4) We have the divine power of God to be unified in prayer and unified in bringing God’s truth to our community.

Our goal is not political it is to save lost souls because the more power Satan has in the world the more souls he will steal from God. Satan’s goal is to rule each country so he can tear down Christianity and feed the people his lies.  The church is powerful when united under Christ and we have the power to fill the world with truth.  Satan tries to make people self-centered and he also tries to divide by making each church self-centered reducing our power to reach lost souls.

Today seek unity and seek to reach lost souls in your community. Pray for the Lord’s guidance and for compassion to point lost souls to Christ. For each soul we point to Christ and they accept Christ, the angels in Heaven rejoice. I tell you that in the same way there will be more rejoicing in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who do not need to repent. (Luke 15:7) Seek to bring Christ to one person this week, bringing God’s truth with love and compassion.

Prayer:  Lord I pray that the Bible based churches in my community would unify and bring the good news of Christ to lost souls.  Lord, guide me in this endeavor to fulfill your will. In Christ name, Amen
