Power and Love of God
Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”
Matthew 19:26
The phrase “All things are possible for God,” is difficult to comprehend, but it is absolutely true. God created the universe, created man and women in His image, and his love for us is so great it is difficult to describe. Do we ever think deeply about God creating everything?
In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. (Genesis 1:1) In Genesis chapter 1 and 2, God created everything including man a woman in His image. And God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light. (Genesis 2) Over six days God created the universe from His words. We cannot imagine the power from God’s words that created mass the size of the universe. Plus, the infinite details of the universe were designed in his thoughts, then He spoke it into existence.
So God created mankind in his own image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them. (Genesis 1:27) What are the characteristics that God designed into us that made us into the image of God? It means that every command in the Bible is perfect for us, and God wrote the Bible for all people created in His image. But God gave us free will, which means we can choose to live as God created us, or we can choose to live with Satan’s lies.
All through the life of Jesus he healed many people through the power of God, and people were healed instantly. The power of God comes from his words, and His power is the Bible. When Jesus wanted to heal someone, it was through the Father they were healed, and if we follow the Bible and guidance of Christ, we can call on Christ for the power of God in our life. Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen. (Ephesians 3:20-21)
God knows the thoughts of every human being on the planet, and he know everyone’s name, and he remembers our thoughts and actions for judgment day. The power of God is with Jesus because the Father and Jesus are one. I and the Father are one. (John 10:30)
The power and love of God is beyond our mental capability, but God has given is the understanding from his Word, that His love and power he uses to guide his people to Heaven; and we receive his divine blessings in this short earthly life.
Today know the power and love God has for us, and know His love and power will protect his people for eternal life.
Prayer: Father let your divine power and love reside in my heart, so I will trust you completely and follow Christ into Heaven. In Jesus name, Amen.
