Patience is a Blessings

Posted on

Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love.

Ephesians 4:2

Patience is fruit of the Spirit, and we live each day with patience in everything we do, we will be more relaxed and comfortable. Satan wants us rush in everything we do, especially when driving, because impatience can easily pull us away from the guidance by the Spirit.

Did we ever that Jesus rushed or show impatience?  When we are patience it helps to remain calm inside and can help us do things better. Many people rush which is can be damaging to our physical health. God is molding us to the mind of Christ, and it starts with patience and being still inside.

He says, “Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth. (Psalm 46:10) If we are to follow the Spirit, we must be still inside, so we can hear the changes in our thoughts. But if we rush our emotions will drown out the thoughts from the Spirit. Being still inside and living with patience, helps us to have control of our emotions, and if remain in communion with the Lord, it helps more to control our emotions. When we go through life being still and relaxed, life is better.

Love is patient and kind; it is not jealous or conceited or proud; it is not arrogant. (1 Corinthians 13:4) Love places our focus on God and others, planting seeds in people’s hearts about Christ, and love will give us patience just like love gave Jesus patience. If we rush through life, are we showing the heart of Jesus? If we ae impatience we are usually self-focused, and we can miss an opportunity to minister to someone.

I waited patiently for the Lord; he inclined to me and heard my cry. (Psalm 40:11) Being patience and still inside, is an extreme help in staying connected to the Lord in our thoughts, and this will bring more peace and comfort to us, helping is be more patience. Patience is an important fruit of the Spirit, because it can relax us, help us to listen better to others, and keeps us healthier.

Today make effort to be more patience and relaxed. Satan will try to make us rush, but we put Satan behind us. Do not give the devil a foothold. (Ephesians 4:27) Satan will try and place us situations where we have to rush, but if we aware of Satan’s tactics, we can overcome them and remain calm.

Prayer:  Lord help me to be patience today and walk with peace and relaxation. And don’t Satan tempt me to rush. In Jesus name, Amen
