Our Life is Christ

Posted on

When Christ, who is your life, appears, then you also will appear with him in glory.

Colossians 3:4

God created us in His image, fills us with the Holy Spirit, and Christ is always with us through the Spirit. Christ is willing to be with us and guide us through all difficulties in life, as He leads us toward our Heavenly home.

We are created to have Christ guide us through life, and at the same time He sets us free. It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery. (Galatians 5:1) This is a miracle from God according to the way he created us, Christ guides our thoughts, words, actions, gives us free will; and we are free indeed. So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed. (John 8:36)

And the testimony is this, that God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son. (1 John 5:13) We can have eternal life only because Christ died on the cross for our sins. Through the Holy Spirit we fight sin through Christ, but we can never be perfect because we live the flesh; but Christ died for our sins and we have forgiveness. Through the power of Christ, we fight sin and we overcome sinful habits; and we live knowing Heaven is our eternal home.

The best life we can possible live is when Christ is the center of life, which means we give Christ priority in everything. This is the life that God created us to live, and it is the most fulfilling life we can possible live.

The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full. (John 10:10) Most people in the world cannot understand how they be guided by Christ and at the same time be free. And that is because they don’t understand God and how he created us, because they believe Satan’s lies. But God has given us “Divine Power Over Satan.” This is the title of a short booklet that will be on Eternal Walk Ministry, website in about a week, and it can be downloaded and printed for free.

Today commune with Christ and ask for guidance. Christ is willing with his divine power, to help us through each moment of each day.

Prayer: Father, help me to always seek Christ to guide me through each day. In Jesus name, Amen
