Our faith is Always Increasing
For we walk by faith, not by sight.
2 Corinthians 5:7
We live everyday continually putting our faith in the Lord in everything we do. We don’t pick and choose when we need faith, we walk in faith every day. We need Christ with us at all times, to guide our thoughts, words, and actions, because we are to project Christ at all times.
I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing. (John 15:5) How can we project Christ to the world without Christ being in us, guiding our thoughts. words, and emotions? We remember we have the power of God in us to show Christ and to overcome the world.
Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, (Ephesians 3:20) We know how much power Christ has, so what keeps us from living in his divine power? Our faith with doubt can keep us from living in God’s power, because we live in our flesh when we should live for our spiritual life.
Don’t be afraid of those who want to kill your body; they cannot touch your soul. Fear only God, who can destroy both soul and body in hell. (Matthew 10:28) We live to take care our body because it is a temple, but we never give our sinful flesh priority over our eternal spirit. Many Christians over the world are being killed for the faith in Christ, and God is given them strength to die for Christ, and great is the reward in Heaven, because they are the heroes of faith.
And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love. (1 Corinthians 13:13) Love is the foundation of our faith, because; You must love the LORD your God with all your heart, all your soul, all your strength, and all your mind. And, Love your neighbor as yourself. (Luke 10:27) When we know God well enough to love Him with all our heart, soul, strength, and mind; then we will have total faith in God and his Son.; and we will trust God’s will over our will.
Today put your faith in God in all things, because God loves us and he is totally faithful to his promises. God is pleased when know him and put our total trust in Him.
Prayer: Lord, increase my faith till my last breath, a continue to draw me closer to you. In Jesus name, Amen
