Live with Patience
Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love.
Ephesians 4:2
When we live with patience, we live more relaxed and we think more clearly. Many people have high blood pressure and are anxious because they lack patience. The Lord wants us to live with patience, because we are to be like Christ, and from the Word Christ has perfect patience.
The Lord is not slow to fulfill his promise as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should reach repentance. (2 Peter 3:9) We wait on the Lord because it takes time to mold us to be like Christ, because we don’t change overnight. If we are to serve Christ, we must have patience because Christ has perfect patience, and how can we serve Christ who has patience, and we are anxious? We should be thankful that Christ is patient, because he knows it takes time for us to change. Likewise, we need to be patient with people for it takes time for people to change.
We need patience in every aspect of our life, because patience can reveal relaxation, comfort, and security in Christ. It can also show that we are in control of our emotions. May you be strengthened with all power, according to his glorious might, for all endurance and patience with joy. (Colossians 1:11) Patience help us to endure when problems arise, it enables us to use Godly wisdom and take time to pray, because we know God has all the answers. We go through life with Christ with us, which is going through life with God guiding us, and being with us.
By your patient endurance, you will gain your souls. (Luke 21:19) We are created to be patient because our life is in our soul. When we rush, we are living by our fleshly desires, and we are more efficient when we live as created, with patience. We all have schedules and sometimes people rush to meet the schedule, but with patience we use wisdom, we leave early, we drive safely, and sometime we are late, due to circumstances out of our control. But we seek to live relaxed with patience in all situations, because we cannot control the world around us. What we need to control is self, and not let the world control us.
Today be patient in everything and make life more efficient. Walk with the Lord and ask for his guidance in every situation.
Prayer; Father, help me to live with patience, in every situation I experience. I know Satan desires for people to rush and raise their blood pressure, but help me to remain relaxed at all times. In Jesus name, Amen
