Live in Victory
But thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
1 Corinthians 15:57
Victory is always with God, no matter how evil Satan makes the world. God is in total control of everything in the universe, and every person that ever lived that refuse to know God, will live in defeat forever with Satan.
For everyone born of God overcomes the world. This is the victory that has overcome the world, even our faith. (1 John 5:4) The Lord has given us his power to overcome the sinful world, as he guides us through life to our Heavenly home. To live in victory is to walk with Christ.
Why, you do not even know what will happen tomorrow. What is your life? You are a mist that appears for a little while and then vanishes. (James 4:14) This life is short and it’s our only chance to know the Word, and to be guided by Christ through life. When we leave this earth we step into eternity, and the ultimate victory is found when Heaven is our eternal home.
Everyone has a choice; walk in victory with Lord or walk in defeat with Satan, there is no other choice. Do not be afraid of those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Rather, be afraid of the One who can destroy both soul and body in hell. (Matthew 10:28) Life is in our soul and it’s not in the flesh, because the body without the spirit is dead (James 2:26). This means the world cannot touch our eternal soul, but only our temporary flesh is subject to the world.
Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. (James 1:2-3) When we walk with the Lord we can be confident in victory through any trials we may face. With the guidance and power of Christ we can endure and live in victory to our last breath. When we walk with Christ there is nothing but victory and Heaven is our home.
Today walk with the Lord and live in victory, and always ask the Lord to be with you. Remember you are guided by God and by Christ, who have power over the universe.
Prayer: Lord I depend on Christ to be with me at all times, even when I am alone. Without Christ being with me, I’m lost. In Jesus name, Amen
