Live Every Day in Victory

Posted on

The Lord is with me; I will not be afraid. What can mere mortals do to me?

Psalm 118:6

We are Christians and Heaven is our home, and no one can snatch us out of God’s hands. I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one will snatch them out of my hand.  My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all, and no one can snatch them out of my Father’s hand. (John 10:28-29) Nothing on the face of the earth can snatch out of the Father’s hand, and we keep walking closer with the Lord until He takes us home.

Do not be afraid of those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. (Matthew 10:28) We live forever because life is in our soul, our spirit. As the body without the spirit is dead, (James 2:26) When we take our last breath, our soul leaves the body and we are still alive and Heaven is our home. Knowing this we can live in victory every day without fear.

Knowing we have started our eternal life when we accepted Christ as our Savior and Lord, will give us courage, because we have destroyed Satan’s fear.  God has equipment us with the most powerful weapon to bring Christ to people – Unconditional Love!  With hearts filled with God’s love we care about misguided souls, and we show our love by caring for their physical needs.

We live in victory every day when we seek to do the Lord’s will. We pray for the Lord’s guidance to show his love to others. Then the righteous will answer him, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you? When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?’ The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’ (Matthew 25:38-40) These verses show us how to reveal God’s love to others. How are we going to reach lost souls if we don’t show God’s love?

When we care about others and we minister to them through the love and power of our Lord, and we show our love by helping them in their physical needs, reflecting the Love of God into their lives. Ministry always starts by showing God’s love, with a never-ending caring heart. The most power thing we have to minister to others is a heart filled with God’s love and care, and God’s love is revealed because Christ is with us and guides us to show love.

And do not forget to do good and to share with others, for with such sacrifices God is pleased. (Hebrews 13:6) God’s love is unconditional and sacrificial, as seen by Christ dying for our sins. We open hearts to show the love of Christ to the lost, to the poor, to the rich, and to everyone. Remember God’s love is action, and it’s comes from the loving feeling in our hearts.

Today remember that Christians are called to be a Light for Christ in this world, not just Sunday worship but seven days a week. This is living in victory, doing the Lord’s will everyday.

Prayer:  Lord open doors that I might show Your love to others, to help people by showing Your love through a caring heart.  In Jesus Name, Amen
