Live by Faith
For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God;
Ephesians 2:8
We have faith when we pray, because we know our prayers will be answered in the Father’s time and in his divine way. The Father’s way of answering our prayer may not be understandable to us, but later in time we will understand. We live each day with faith, trusting Christ is with us and will guide us through each day As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts. (Isaiah 55:9)
And without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is and that He is a rewarder of those who seek Him. (Hebrews 11:6) We are saved by grace through faith by putting our life in the hands of Christ which means we trust the Lord’s ways over our ways. When we fully trust the Lord, we will stop sharing the throne with Christ.
We show we are servants of God by our pure lives, our understanding, and kindness, by the Holy Spirit, by true love, by speaking truth, and by God’s power. (2 Corinthians 2:6-7) Our faith shown by seeking to walk in his divine and perfect will. We minister to the world through the guidance of Christ, and the more experience his divine will, the more our faith increases.
Today fully trust the Lord, asking Christ for guidance. Know the perfect love that God has for you and trust his loving guidance. Know he will guide you and take care of both your worldly needs and spiritual needs.
Prayer: Lord, I will fully trust you in everything I do today. Guide me as your servant as a light in this world. In Jesus name, Amen
