Live as Created
So God created mankind in his own image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them.
Genesis 1:27
Everything works better when it is operated in accordance to its design, and it’s the same for us when we operate in accordance the way God designed us. The Word of God gives us a complete description of how we are to live. And we live life to full when we live the way God created us. The problem we have living in this world is that Satan wants us to live more in accordance to the world and live less in accordance to the ways of God.
Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God. (1 John 4:7) We are created to have our hearts filled with God’s love, because love connects us to the Lord, and love makes all the commands in the Bible the desire of our hearts. Love frees us from self and places God and others first in our hearts. We spiritually grow closer to Christ and we live to witness to others. This is the life we are created live, and it is the most fulfilling and rewarding life we can live.
The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full. (John 10:10) When we live as created, we will experience life to the full. But Satan is always tempting us to not fully live as created, but his desire is to keep part of us living in the pattern of the world. If we seek and pray to live in accordance to God’s divine commands, our soul will remain content, and now we can enjoy the world as God intended. We seek nothing from the world, because the Lord enables us to provide our essential needs, and that’s all we need to be content and thankful. Christ provides everything we need to satisfy our soul, the spiritual us.
Today live as Christ’s servant, and reflect Jesus to everyone, and tell others about salvation in Christ if the opportunity arises. Ask the Lord to guide you by the Spirit, and pray that you will know the Spirit’s guidance.
Prayer: Lord help me to live in accordance to how you created me. Help me to serve you with all my heart by following the Spirit. In Jesus name.
