Live as Created
So God created mankind in his own image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them.
Genesis 1:27
We are created in the image of God, and it if live according to how God created us we will experience life to the full. He has also set eternity in their heart, (Ecclesiastes 3:11). We are spiritual beings and our soul lives forever. The Bible tells us how to live the way we are created knowing we live forever.
The mind governed by the flesh is death, but the mind governed by the Spirit is life and peace. (Romans 8:6) While in this world, Satan tempts us to be governed by our fleshly desires, while we are created to be governed by the Spirit. For those who are led by the Spirit of God are the children of God. (Romans 8:14) The Holy Spirit lives in the believer and Christ guides us through life, molding us to the life we are created to live. We are created to live with our own personality with the mind and heart of Jesus.
As we become more like Jesus, we experience life to the full, a life that far exceeds what we can obtain from the world. The blessings from Heaven are eternal meaning they feed our soul forever, while the things from the world feed our flesh and are temporary. Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in the heavenly realms with every spiritual blessing in Christ. (Ephesians 1:3)
Everyone born of God overcomes the world. This is the victory that has overcome the world, even our faith. (1 John 5:4) Living as we are created, we overcome Satan and his evil ways in the world. We are given power over Satan and his demons through the power of God that lives in us. You, dear children, are from God and have overcome them, because the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world. (1 John 4:4)
If we live as we are created, we bring God’s truth to the world through the power of Christ in us. Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen. (Ephesians 3:20) We live with victory in Christ which comes when do whatever Christ calls us to do.
Today live as you are created which is defined in the Word. Live as created and experience life to the full, knowing Heaven is your home. Only Christ and his love can give us a fulfilling life with divine meaning.
Prayer: Lord, guide me to live as you created me. Guide me in your Word so I understand how to live as created, and experience to the full.. In Jesus name, Amen
