Life to the Fullest
The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.
John 10:10
When Jesus says he will give us life to the full, then we can experience divine life to the fullest! This is a promise from Jesus and God cannot lie. God created us in his image and he is the only one who can give us a fulfilling life.
“Though the mountains be shaken and the hills be removed, yet my unfailing love for you will not be shaken nor my covenant of peace be removed,” says the Lord, who has compassion on you. (Isaiah 54:10) The Lord’s love is always with us and the peace that transcends understanding will fill our hearts. Life to the full means the Lord is always with us, guiding us through life filling us with the Spirit, giving us whatever we need in every situation in life. He gives us his peace, courage, power, wisdom, strength, or whatever we need.
But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. (Hebrews 11:6) Faith that pleases God is to surrender our life to Christ then we can experience life to fullest. When Christ leads our life, we are free and in control because our will becomes God’s will. It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery. (Galatians 5:1) Christ will guide our life and make us free from the world, which means we overcome the world. Everyone born of God overcomes the world. This is the victory that has overcome the world, even our faith. (1 John 5:4)
The Lord gives us life to the full, and he frees us from being controlled by the world meaning we overcome the world. Our faith is pleasing to God and we trust him fully. The result is we are one with Christ, and he carries us through life into Heaven. He fills us his love, peace, and joy that is always with us through the Spirit. There no life on the planet that compares to life to full from Christ, and Christ is always with us.
Today surrender your life to Christ and be free. Accept his divine guidance and his love and power for your life. Christ gives us what the world cannot give.
Prayer: Lord I trust Christ to guide my life and to mold me to more like Jesus. Thank you, that you are willing to guide my life. In Jesus name, Amen
